Every Saturday night David Attenborough’s documentaries take us on a journey to meet some of the world’s most incredible wildlife! The camera work is amazing, capturing animals in the most incredible action and the D MAN always leaves us fascinated by all the tantalising facts he knows.
The next installment coming our way is David Attenborough’s Africa, which kicks off Saturday February 16 at 6:30pm. Africa will entertain us every Saturday night for seven weeks, taking us on a journey through 27 different countries! We can’t wait to see what amazing animals we encounter along the way! Before you watch it though, check out these amazing facts about how it was made!
A cameraman was stuck up a tree for 4 hours with an elephant trying to shake him out of it!
A venomous snake found its way up the trouser leg of a cameraman in Congo!
A ‘death-stalker’ scorpion was found hiding in a crew tent in Egypt!
Two minefields were unwittingly strayed into by crew (Egypt and Mozambique)!
