Kirby’s Epic Yarn is one of our favourite games this year. We love how he gets sucked into a world made of fabric and becomes like a piece of thread – we just never get tired of unzipping backgrounds and using our thread to swing up onto ledges, it’s fun to the MAX!

But now the time has come for us to finish the game as fast as we can because another AWSM Kirby game is on the horizon! From what we’ve seen in the trailer for the new game, which will just be called Kirby, it looks a lot like the classic Kirby games before Epic Yarn!

This time an alien spacecraft has crashed in the land of Pop Star and its pieces are scattered throughout the land. You Kirby have to find all the ships’ parts and help the aliens return to their home planet.

The game will feature a whole lot of new abilities for Kirby, like a sword, energy beam, whip and whirlwind made of leaves AND you’ll get ‘Super Abilities’ too which will be activated when Kirby inhales some types of enemy characters! Last week we were lucky enough to get our own Nintendo 3DS console and we’ve been having non-stop 3D gaming sessions since! So far we’ve only played Super Street Fighter IV but we’re super impressed, AND we’re excited to hear there are a heap of other games about to hit the market and wow us with their 3D graphics.
